Symposium: Baseball and American Culture

In May, I wrote this post on the "Baseball and American Culture" symposium hosted annually and co-sponsored by SUNY-Oneonta and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.  A few days ago I received a "call for papers" for the 2011 symposium.  Here's the link.

An accompanying email also provided a relevant timeline of information:

December 17, 2010:  Proposal Due Date
February 4, 2011:  Selection of Papers is finalized
February 25, 2011:  Presentation Invitation Acceptance Due Date
March 21, 2011:  Initial Program Announcement
April 8, 2011:  Mailing of Registration Packets
June 1-3, 2011:  Symposium Program in Cooperstown

At the 2010 symposium, Arkansas law prof Dustin Buehler and Washington law prof Steve Calandrillo presented their co-authored paper (the subject of a blog post here).  At a previous symposium, FIU law prof Howard Wasserman presented a paper.  I'm guessing that any of these friends would be delighted to answer your questions about submitting and presenting a paper at the symposium.  So if you're interested, step into the batter's box and swing away!
